1967 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible
The very LAST C2 Corvette Convertible EVER produced
The Story
This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Convertible is a significant piece of Corvette history and widely recognized as the very last C2 Midyear Corvette convertible produced. This milestone Midyear was produced on July 12, 1967, before the final two coupes, making it the third last Corvette of 22,940 produced for model year 1967. It was delivered to its first owner in Whittier, California, on July 28, 1967. This Corvette is a hugely desirable Triple black example with Tuxedo Black paint, black soft top, black standard interior and black auxiliary hardtop. This car is one of only 815 1967 Corvettes factory finished in Tuxedo Black paint.
The fulsome documentation with this historically significant Sting Ray convertible includes complete ownership history back to the original owner, copies of previous registrations, a copy of the original Protect-O-Plate, the owner’s manual packet, cylinder case and trim tag affirmation certificates by Al Grenning’s Classic Car Affirmation Service, LLC, NCRS Top Flight Certificate and judging sheets and NCRS Shipping Data Reports for S122938 (this car), and the last two coupes, S122939 and S122940.
This Very Last C2 Midyear Convertible is a striking piece of Corvette history that presents in award-winning condition.
