The Story

1973 was the 20th anniversary of Harley Earl’s introduction of the Corvette in 1953. 1973 was the first re-design of the C3 generation since its introduction in 1968.  These design updates were primarily done to bring the car in-line to the latest safety standards.

This 1973 Corvette Stingray is 1 of only 4,412 produced with the LS4 V-8 engine. It is a matching numbers CWT-suffix 454 Cubic Inch, 275 HP LS4 V-8 engine.

With the 1973 Corvette, the Corvette entered its third decade of production. As it was in 1953, the Corvette remained America’s only sports car.
